There’s often a gentle introduction. I love his voice, calm, and even-toned for the most part, infused with passion at other times. Listening to Rick’s podcasts are like sitting in the living room listening to your favourite uncle.

Rick is observant of our times rather than giving loud proclamations… A minute or two into his topic, and the depth of his thinking and research are evident.

I look forward to listening to Rick’s podcasts because they give me things to think about beyond highly publicized media topics. I like hearing the personal stories that he brings to light. Histories of people who live very different lives than myself. It’s a bit of vicarious adventure, lol.
